Hello, and thanks for visiting Hoorgi House, the home of Ivor Cutler.
Hoorgi House Records was established by Ivor Cutler's family in 2007 to ensure the continuing availability of
Ivor Cutler material for new and existing fans, and to extend the range of material available. The name Hoorgi House is
taken from a story of that title in Gruts, Ivor's first published work. Ivor Cutler's own illustration of the story
is the company's logo.
Hoorgi House Records has two releases so far. On 17 March 2008, we released A Flat Man, Ivor Cutler's final album
before his death in March 2006, originally produced for Creation Records in 1998.
Our second album is Privilege, the earliest of three LP's Ivor made for Rough Trade Records.
The release date was 19 Oct 2009 - the first time this material has been available on CD.
These records are available from record shops or directly from Hoorgi House, they are also available as downloads.
